Reliance Industries Ltd is going to launch Jio Phone-II on August 15 across the country. But before that, questions have started arising from this. According to a report, the Mobile Association has accused Reliance of saving the import duty on this phone. While answering the charge, Reliance has said that it is all lies. There is no truth in it.

Speaking to ET, Bhupesh Rasin, Chairman of Mobile Association's Advisory Committee, told ET that Geo Phone Devices are not being made in India. He further said that we understand that these devices are being imported from China. Reliance Zero is planning to import large quantities of imported goods through Indonesia to take advantage of the Customs duty.

Indonesia is a member of the Association of South East Asian Nations, ASEAN, with which India has a Free Trade Treaty. While India imports 20% of basic custom duty on imports from China.Rasin further said that due to imported fully assembled Geo Devices from China through Indonesia, the Government's Make in India Program will be greatly damaged.

Rasin further said that the association is now planning to meet central minister Arun Jaitley and senior officials of the Ministry of Finance for the entire matter.At the same time, Reliance Jio has denied all these allegations raised on himself. According to Reliance spokesperson, Jio Phone is being made in India only.

Samsung Begins Mass Production of 10nm 16Gb LPDDR4X DRAM   With the Galaxy Note 9 unveil just around the corner, Samsung has now announced that it has begun the mass production of its 10-nanometer-class (1y-nm) second generation 16Gb LPDDR4X (Low Power, Double Data Rate, 4X) DRAM. With this LPDDR4X advancement, Samsung will be capable of providing high-capacity 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB LPDDR4X packages.
